Being a member of NCW will keep you informed of current affairs both nationally and internationally, also provide the opportunity to participate and air your views on a variety of topics and help improve the quality of life for all.
We offer you;
- Information and participation through our website.
- A monthly mailing and quarterly Newsletter.
- Meetings, Seminars and a National Conference at privileged rates.
- Involvement in Special Committees and policy-making.
- Individual Membership, or Branch Membership with social activities.
- The companionship of like-minded women.

Classes of Membership |
Branch Membership: is open to all women.
- Branches have a varied programme of events including; speakers, lunches, outings, discussion group meetings and seminars, which provides the opportunity to make a wide circle of friends.
- Branch members receive copies of the quarterly NCW News Publication.
- Branches belong to Regions and often work with them on joint projects of local or national interest.
- Branches work with local affiliated societies and other organisations.
- Branches send representatives to the National Policy Committees: who give reports back to branch meetings for discussion, which sometimes leads to branch action.
- Branches debate and discuss topical issues, often responding to Action Briefings and Government Consultation papers. This work at grass roots level enables members to express their views and opinions on matters of importance and contributes to the aims and objectives of the organisation.
- Branches can submit resolutions to the national conference, which if passed, become policy of the NCW. The resolutions are also sent to government and NCW lobby for action to be taken.
Branch subscriptions are paid to branches and may vary.
Branches exist all over England. However you may wish to join as an Individual Member.
Individual Membership: is open to all women.
As an Individual Member you can;
- participate in all meetings, seminars, study days, attend conference etc and make your voice heard on subjects that concern you.
- be a representative on a policy committee.
- obtain notification of meetings, agendas and minutes of the policy committees etc.
- receive copies of our quarterly publication NCW News, and information about NCW affiliated organisations.
Individual members pay their fees directly to Headquarters.
