Our Work |
NCW has a number of areas in which we work and all are important in the organisation: Policy Committees, Young Women, Regions, Branches and Individual Members. We are a democratic diverse membership, which provides the opportunity for women to have a voice; we listen to their views and represent them at the highest possible level. |
Policy Committees |
NCW has ten special committees that meet at regular intervals to discuss key issues of social importance and new legislation from parliament. The committees produce reports, hold seminars and have input into our policy and responses to government consultations. Policy is agreed by resolutions passed at the National Conference and the AGM. Regions |
There are six regions, made up of branches and individual members. They provide the opportunity to share ideas and information and work together on various projects including seminars. They produce reports and publications. They are also an important link between members and the Management Committee. [More] |
Publications |
Publications arise from our work, studies and seminars. They are used to disseminate information to our membership and beyond, also to support our representations to government. [More] |
