We’re looking for new volunteers who have experience of working with young women and girls. Particularly those from an educational background.

We are expanding our Young Women’s Steering Group (YWSG) to include members with relevant experience.
The YWSG looks after both our National Council of Young Women (NCYW) work and our Network 18-30. They are really lovely projects to be involved with and we have some very committed and enthusiastic young women on board.

One of the key developments is our new on-the-ground work with schools and projects for young women and girls based in the Nottingham area. This is currently under development, so it’s an exciting time to join us. Participants can choose just to be involved in this project if they prefer.

The level of commitment is variable. At a minimum, we would need people to commit to meeting once a month, where they can share their valuable experience. For those who’d like to be more involved, they can opt to help with a specific piece of work or project.

To find out more about our current activities… Please see our relevant pages on our website NCYW – Under 18 – https://ncwgb.org/ncyw-under-18/ and Network 18-30 – https://ncwgb.org/network-18-30/, and/or contact Ruth on ruth@ncwgb.org for a chat.
