NCWGB management committee members Elsie Leadley, Wendy North and Ruth Batty, met up with Erin Parker Leonard of Represent Women, a new organisation, founded last year, supporting the women and girls’ sector in the Northeast.
Represent Women is setting up a network of organisations, so they can share experiences, resources, and support for mutual causes, at a time that funding for the sector has been severely cut.
NCWGB has a lively Darlington branch, so we hope that this will create opportunities for the two organisations to work together on a joint project.
