The National Council of Women, concerned at the gradual erosion of School Nurse services urges H M Government to: (a) encourage Health Trusts to employ more nurses and ensure that all children have equal access to a school nurse; (b) ensure all school nurses are appropriately qualified; and (c) make it possible for school nurses to be consulted and included at strategic level in every Health Trust.
