For 130 years, NCWGB has relied on the gallant voluntary contributions of women and girls, who have brought a variety of skills and knowledge. We are always open to people willing to join our focused Media and Arts and Young Women’s Steering Groups and our International Sub-Committee; alternatively we welcome volunteers onto our Management Committee in a non-Trustee role (this means you can help us make decisions about our weekly operations, but not Governance such as changing our aims and objectives). We meet monthly and depending on the time you are able to commit, you are able to choose to help with work inbetween meetings.
We are also keen to welcome new Trustees to our Board, particularly those with experience in the voluntary sector and governance, organisational management, education, policy and research, human rights and project development. We have a Trustee recruitment programme which includes a commitment free 6 months as a volunteer member on our Management Committee, so you can find out if the organisation is right for you.
